Spring Break Reading Awards

Mrs. Robinett and Mrs. Morrow would like to congratulate all of our spring break readers!  For those of you that turned in your reading log, we now have the results of who our winners are.....drum roll
Class with the most participants for the second time...B5 with 15 students!! 
Class with the most minutes read...A3 with 6,099 minutes read!!
 
Our grade level winners were as follows: 
Kinder from A4 Cole: 580 minutes,
1st grade from B5 Josie: 1,355 minutes,
2nd grade from A3 Vince: 2,020 minutes,
3rd grade from B4 Sarah with 2,140 minutes,
4th grade from C6 Katrina with 2,540 minutes,
5th grade from C5 Kenna with 2,240 minutes
 
Our entire school read over 33,000 minutes!!
 
Great reading Forest Ridge Students...remember "the more you read, the better you read, so READ, READ, READ!!"

Summer Salem Public Library Reading Program

THE 2015 SUMMER READING CLUB IS COMING SOON TO SALEM PUBLIC LIBRARY This summer, children from birth through elementary school can discover their super-power during Salem Public Library's Summer Reading Club. Staff and volunteers will be encouraging readers (and listeners) up through grade 5 to READ! READ! READ! with the theme "Every Hero Has a Story" and young adults, grades 6 to high school gradu-ates are encouraged to "Unmask!" Sign-ups begin June 2nd at the Salem Public Library Youth Services desk or online at www.salemlibrary.org!

Library Spring Break Reading Program

Dear Parents,

Library Spring Break Reading program will begin  March 19th and run through the 29th.  Your students will be bringing home a bright yellow sheet to fill out the titles of the books they have read along with the minutes. Please help them total their minutes for their vacation reading and sign their sheet.  All students that fill this out with the appropriate information and turn it in the first week back (March 30-April 3) will be eligible for prizes!  Have a great vacation and READ, READ, READ!!!

Christmas Break Reading - 2014

Today Mrs. Robinett and Mrs. Morrow would like to announce our winners for the library "Christmas Break Reading!"
Total hours read by our school and form turned in was our highest yet with 768.09 hours!! 
The class with the MOST PARTICIPANTS was....B5 with 17 students!!
The class that read the MOST HOURS was B4 with 140.86 hours!!!  
Good job to both of those classes and great reading to the whole school!

We  would now like to announce our individual grade level winners.  Your names and pictures will be in Thursday thoughts as well.
